Mark Daybell: Professor and Department Chair

Professor Mark Daybell earned a MFA from CSU Fullerton and BS from California Polytechnic State University‚ San Luis Obispo. Over his 20–year career in the arts‚ he has exhibited his videos‚ photography‚ installations and films at museums‚ galleries‚ film festivals and alternative art venues. As a professor‚ Mark guides students in the processes of finding an artistic voice and instructs them on creating a portfolio to reflect that vision.

Shannon Doronio: Professor of Graphic Design

Shannon is a partner at Parallel-Play‚ a multi-disciplinary design studio in northern Los Angeles. She has designed and developed annual reports for both 826LA and 826National‚ Edward Kienholz and Frederick Hammersley exhibition catalogs for LA Louver‚ A Ring of Sunshine Around the Moon book for the Echo Park Time Travel Mart‚ and Beard‚ a book of photographs from the World Beard and Moustache Championships by Matthew Rainwaters for Chronicle Books.

Mark Flanders: Adjunct Instructor

Mark Flanders received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin–Stout before going on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a MFA from California State University‚ Long Beach. Additionally‚ he studied both art and art history at Ealing College in England. Mark specializes in multimedia‚ traditional and non–traditional photography and bricolage.

Lin Wilde: Adjunct Instructor

Lin Wilde earned his BFA in Digital Media from Otis College of Art & Design. He has been a staff artist and postproduction expert at Blind since 2003. Lin has worked on hundreds of commercials for major companies‚ including Google‚ Microsoft‚ Audi and Nike. He has worked on promos for Showtime‚ Discovery‚ ABC‚ Spike and Fox Sports. Lin is also an active member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (The Emmys).

C. W. Moss: Adjunct Instructor

C.W. Moss is an author, illustrator, and designer from Missouri. In college, C.W. wrote a book that went viral and signed a book deal with Harper Collins/It Books! for Unicorn Being a Jerk (2011) and Why Unicorn Drinks (2013). He's worked with LACMA, the Hammer Museum, Cinefamily, the Craft & Folk Art Museum, Actual Size Gallery, WWA Gallery, and the Pasadena Museum of California Art.

I am fascinated with human behavior, mind and emotions and their relationships with space and time. With my work I am concerned with transporting people into a different space or emotional phase of life. The goal is for the viewer to find familiarities and relationships in the work that is presented in front of them, as well as to reflect quietly on themselves and have a conversation with the artwork that only they could have.
